Our Riding Stable

The horse riding training on the Pfeiffer Holiday Farm is carried out by qualified personnel (Trainer B and C) according to the guidelines of the German Equestrian Federation (FN). 11 ponies and small horses are available for our guests, in all sizes - from 85 cm to 155 cm shoulder height - horse sizes also available. Large forest areas invite to excursions on horseback, directly from the farm. The lessons take place in our own outdoor riding arena (20 x 40 m) and in the slightly smaller indoor riding arena (15 x 30 m). If you have small children, you can take them for walks on ponyback, leading the pony by the bridle.

Our training ponies are kept outdoors all year long, in an open stable, in a mixed flock, which is the most appropriate way of keeping this species. Because of this, they display a very pronounced natural pony behavior, which is interesting to watch for all of our riding students and their company. It allows them to easily pick up on the 'horse language', which is one of the important basics, necessary for learning the safe handling of horses and ponies and to successfully learn horseback riding. During the summer, the ponies are out on the pasture day and night. Watching them is also very entertaining for the non-riders.

Riding lessons take place every working day, by appointment on site. Riding lessons on Saturdays only by prior arrangement. No riding on Sundays.
